Assistant Manager – Warehouse 

Essential functions

  • Assists with set-up of tents, tables, chairs and other miscellaneous rental equipment.
  • Works in outdoor environment under different weather conditions.
  • Lifts and moves heavy equipment.
  • Loads and unloads trucks.
  • Operates forklift and other equipment as needed.
  • May perform warehouse duties such as picking and returning equipment to assigned locations.
  • May clean and maintain rental equipment.

Work environment

 

  • Often works outdoors and in all weather conditions such as heat and cold. 
  • May occasionally work in a warehouse/indoor environment that does not have air conditioning. 
  • Regularly wears safety attire or uses safety equipment, such as vests, masks, gloves, etc. 
  • May work in close proximity to other people. 
  • May be exposed to loud or distracting sounds or noise levels.

Requirements

 

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Must be able to lift approximately 20 to 40 lbs. consistently; occasionally up to 70 lbs.  
  • Clean driver’s license is helpful but not necessary.
  • Must be available for work 7 days a week.

Preferred experience

 

  • Construction or other outdoor field work experience.
  • Three months tent installation experience is a plus.
  • Bi-lingual/ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

Work authorization/security clearance requirements

 

  • Section 1 of federal Form I-9.
  • Acceptable documents authorized by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services proving identity and employment authorization.
