25 Jan Atlanta Event Inspiration: Garden of Eden Ball

Classic Tents and Events is proud to have provided a striking tent and rentals for Atlanta Botanical Garden’s 40th Anniversary Garden of Eden Ball. The annual, and highly-anticipated, gala entails cocktails at sunset and continues with sumptuous cuisine followed by top-notch entertainment. As the Garden’s largest annual fundraising event, it generates vital revenue for operations. This year’s event took place on September 24th on the Great Lawn, beneath the canopies of bright white tents and surrounded by the lush gardens.

First Impressions Matter

Upon their arrival, guests were graced by a gorgeous view of the city skyline beyond the gardens – the Gardens are situated just 15 minutes from Downtown. They were guided through the Vine Arbor, lined with pipe and drape and lit up with twinkling string lights. On the manicured lawn was a large frame tent – this style, without center poles, is the best option for large seated gatherings such as galas or fundraisers. Portions of the tent featured clear siding, decorated with drapery, so as not to obstruct the view of the garden. The main tent was then flanked on either side by a set of smaller tents, which served as covered entryways.

Eventually, the sun set and the interior of the tent came to life! On the side of the tent without clear siding, a backdrop creation using pipe and drape. Bright and soft, it beautifully complemented the bright and airy garden theme. As the evening included a series of speeches and live entertainment, a small stage was constructed and decorated with a skirt. It was complete with audio equipment and a clear podium, for a simple but modern look. With two bars featured, on either side of the stage. To serve the large number of guests who attend the Garden of Eden Ball. Overhead, the ceiling was aglow thanks to a mix of uplighting, situated on the floor, and overhead lighting mounted to the frame of the tent.
